SAINT GEORGE

In the round sculpture of Saint George following the standard iconography of the Saint as a Roman soldier, fighting the dragon, the symbol of evil. The saint is dressed in a red tunic and “roman” boots and helmet. He holds a sward in an aggressive posture despite his sweet juvenile expression.
